Dark Throne Automator

The Dark Throne Automator is capable of performing various tasks on the dark throne online game, via an alternative interface. It also supports batch jobs where a series of tasks are automatically performed, based on a pre-determined script.

Darkthrone was a popular game among my friend circle in college. It was a great game that had one major problem of requiring you to click 350 times on a button to "recruit" for that day. This meant you get 250 more citizens for your kingdom. However it was rather boring to do this, so we tried various means to get around this.

It started of with simple screen recorded macros, then moved on to direct url access macros (via get requests) and finally culminated in a shell script program.

These were rather cumbersome to use, and also not entirely efficient. So i decided to experiment with some GUI designing and wanted to make a sleek integrated solution. And i came up with this.

Though, the irony is that now that this is complete, almost all my friends have stopped playing DT and so have I. So this becomes just an academic pursuit instead of being useful.

Important: Read This

This program is neither promoted, developed or supported by Darkthrone. It is developed entirely by me, for educational purposes.

Using it for performing deposits, mercenaries and repairs fall in a grey area of their service agreement. However, if you are caught using the "recruit" functiality on thier site, you are liable to get banned.
